“Jeff, this may sound crazy, but can you fly to Portland tomorrow? We need you to conduct research into marijuana dispensaries.”
With that phone call began one of the grooviest projects of my career. At first, I was asked to develop an event strategy for a new product that “infused dry herbs with flavor and aroma.” We ended up building the Itsa brand from the ground up: brand voice, logo, packaging, website, videos, sales materials, the whole shebang.
Packaging and Point-of-Sale
The design needed to break through clutter at retail, set the expectation of the flavor profile, and evoke a sense of fun and novelty.
