At GMR, I developed experiences that integrated video, digital, live events and traditional media. Previously, I ran the internal creative shop at AOL. No, I didn’t mail you any free CDs. Different department.

My best work taps into my passion for writing, humor and music. As a writer, I know how to make people invest in a story. While it’s not always appropriate to be “funny,” every good story should draw from the cultural crosscurrents, subvert expectations and surprise the audience—which is the essence of comedy. Music was my first love, and I still compose and perform actively. Beyond that, there’s a kind of music in how you unspool a narrative over time, beat by beat, through a song or video or across multiple touchpoints at a live event, to build towards a moment of shared catharsis and discovery.

As a leader, I find it rewarding to help others own their strengths. I work hard and set expectations high but treat people with kindness and compassion. I love to collaborate. I think all of this should be fun. So, let’s have some fun.
